Project-Based Learning: 

Here's a sampling of some of my classroom "expeditions." These are long-term, in-depth learning experiences enriched with expert guests and rich, local fieldwork. Students are placed into small groups to become experts on a specific aspect of the unit of study. Their learning culminates in the creation of a "final product" which often consists of a written, oral, or performance piece presented at their Celebrations of Learning.
